Betty Lou Collins Michaux

March 3, 1947 - January 22, 2022

Betty Lou Collins Michaux, 74, of Summerfield, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Annie Penn Hospital. Per Betty’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Betty was born on March 3, 1947, to the late Dari and Eva Clark Collins. She was a sweet, caring, loving woman that never met a stranger. Betty loved family get togethers, cook outs, watching hummingbirds, and cussing her husband. She also loved apple pies, whoppers with extra mayo, chicken tenders with tartar sauce, and watching her criminal shows and soap operas. There was nothing she loved more than her family and her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Craig; her brothers, Junior and Leroy Collins; and her granddaughter, Christina Michaux. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Larry Bayne Michaux of the home; her sons, Wayne Michaux (Tammy) of Summerfield and Barry Michaux (Christine) of Madison; her sister, Claudie Stanley; her grandchildren, Whitney Michaux, Coty Michaux, Kristen Michaux, Kaylee McGlamery, Abby Shelton, Greg Correia, and Michael Menard; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
