Jason Michael Priddy Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Stoneville- Jason Michael Priddy went home to be with Jesus unexpectedly Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Jason’s funeral service will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Atkins and Reverend Garold Roseman officiating. Interment will follow at Glenn’s Chapel Cemetery. A lifetime Stoneville resident, Jason was born November 15, 1979 the son of Hassell F. Priddy, Jr. and Carol Ann Priddy. He graduated from McMichael High School in 1999 and attended North Carolina State University. Jason was formerly employed by the Town of Mayodan, working at the water treatment plant. Jason attended the Refuge (Mayodan Pentecostal Holiness Church). Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Henry Rhodes and paternal grandfather, Hassell F. Priddy, Sr. He is survived by his parents, Hassell F. Priddy, Jr. and Carol Ann Priddy of Stoneville; maternal grandmother, Ann Sims Cooper of Stoneville, paternal grandmother Jewell Shaffer Priddy of Stoneville; his loving wife Karen Carter Priddy of the home; two children, Brittany and Jordan Priddy; sister, Kristin Edwards and husband Lee of Mayodan and brother, Andrew Priddy of Kernersville; in-laws, Jerry and Ann Carter of Stoneville; two nieces, Brooklyn Cummings and Aliyah Lowe; four nephews, Neil Cummings, Austin Coleman, Ryder Coleman and Isayah Lowe; lots of aunts and Uncles. Jason was a loving son, grandson, husband, father, brother and friend. He loved animals and watching sports, especially golf. Jason thoroughly enjoyed coaching his AAU Basketball team, the Carolina Kings. He was an advocate for children and took great pride and joy in helping them better their lives. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2016 at the funeral home and other times at the home of Hassell and Carol Ann Priddy or at the family home.
