Linda Gayle Roper Williams, 77, of Madison, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Wesley Long Hospital. Per Linda’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Linda was born in South Carolina on March 8, 1945, to the late Trenton and Beulah Turner Roper. She loved having fun and enjoyed life to the fullest. She also loved spending time with her great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bill Shively; and her brother, Jimmy Roper. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cindy Bazemore and husband Charlie of Stoneville; her brother, Gary Roper, Sr. and wife Shirley of VA; four grandchildren, Kristine, Cody, Chris, and Johnnie; 13 great grandchildren; and her longtime companion, James Hyatt.
