Lynn Denise Brown Sullivan, 67, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Annie Penn Hospital. A 1:00 p.m. funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Ray Funeral Home with Pastor Torrey Easler officiating. Burial will follow at Mayodan Municipal Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She was born in Rockingham County on September 25, 1954, to the late Robert and Josephine Woods Brown. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mayodan. Lynn loved going out with friends, spending time with her grandchildren, and the UNC Tar Heels. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Ray Sullivan; and her brothers, Keith Brown and Dwayne Brown; and her grandson, Lil JJ. She is survived by her children, Chasity Isley (Johnny) of Mayodan and Ashton Sullivan of Mayodan; her sister, Tane Vernon (Jerry Goins) of Mayodan; her brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Missy Sullivan; her grandchildren, Haley Woods, Cody Woods, and Joseph Woods; and five great-grandchildren.
