Robert Donald Robinette, Jr., 53, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at his home. A 2:00 p.m. funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Riverside Church of the Living God with Bishop Donnie Robinette, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening, January 28, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the church. Robert was born in Henry County, VA on May 17, 1968, to Robert, Sr. and Donna Spear Robinette. He was a hard worker, good father, and loved his family. Robert loved rock and roll, motorcycles, wrestling, NASCAR, the Carolina Panthers, and the Virginia Tech Hokies. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Joshua Wayne Robinette and wife April of Eden and Robert Tyler Robinette of Eden; his girlfriend, Cindy Dickens Jones; step-daughters, Shaye Dickens and Hope Jones; his brother, James Wheeler Robinette of Stoneville; his sister, Lisa Robinette McDaniels of Statesville; four grandchildren, Baleigh, Lucas, Everleigh, and Tinsleigh Robinette; nieces, Courtney Robinette, Kayla Myers, Haley McDaniels, and Brittany Wicker; nephews, Alex and Zach Robinette; his great niece, Haisley Wicker; his great nephew, Haiden Myers; and his special friends, Walter Thacker and Jeff Bulda. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ray Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
