Tammie Lou Martin Farmer, 61 of Mayodan, made the transition to her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. A 6:00 p.m. funeral service will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Pass officiating. The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A Rockingham County native, Tammie was born on August 16, 1960 to the late Tom and Goldie Farris Martin. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Tammie was a selfless woman who loved everyone, was loved by everyone, and would brighten any room she walked in. She enjoyed playing pool with her many friends with Triad APA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Oakley. She is survived by husband, Mickey Dean Farmer of the home; her daughters, Tiffany Lynn Watson (Chase) of Lynchburg, VA and Kristin Watson of West Sand Lake, NY; her sons, Kyle Farmer (Rachel) of Charlotte and Landon Farmer of Sandy Ridge; her brother, Terry Martin (Bonnie) of Mayodan; her grandchildren, Colton Watson, Kaislee Brown, and Jameson Farmer; many special friends; and her four-legged companions, Natta Belle and Nelly. The family would like to thank her dedicated nurse, Kim Lloyd for her love and care.
