Willie Frances Foulks Taylor

Willie Frances Foulks Taylor, 78, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Moses Cone Hospital. An 11:00 a.m. graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the Foulks-Taylor Farm at the Barn with Rev. Paul Hooker officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening, February 15, 2022, at Ray Funeral Home. Frances was born in Rockingham County on April 7, 1943, to the late William and Madie McGehee Foulks. She was a loving wife, mother, and nana. Frances always had a smile on her face and enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow. She loved gardening, taking trips to the beach and mountains, and NC State basketball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Taylor; and her sisters, Elizabeth Isley, Jean Puckett, and an infant baby sister. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Robert Allen Taylor of the home; her daughters, Sharon Hickman (Flint) of Madison and Dawn Stevens of Statesville; her sister, Linda Hazelwood of Madison; her grandchildren, James Tucker (Jessica), Justin Hickman (Lacey), Jacob Hickman (Michelle), and Ashley Hickman; and her great-grandchildren, Tristen Tucker, Annistyn Tucker, Trevor Hickman, Shyann Hickman, Layla Hickman, Kyndall Hickman, Ali Hickman, Noah Hickman, Brenten Joyce and Bailey Joyce; and many nieces and nephews.
